“I’m a Gay Rutgers Student myself, and we have an excellent LGBT community.

This past week there have been non-stop LGBT events on campus we also have several LGBTQQIA student groups. BiGLARU(GSA group), LEGGO(For Queer people of color), the dorm I live in has a floor that has gender neutral bathrooms for transgender students. And I’m part of Delta Lambda Phi a fraternity for Gay Bisexual and progressive men.

There is the opportuinity, and support for any sort of queer student people on campus its just a shame that some people are isolated. My life really sucked during highscool, and now that I’m at Rutgers my life is great! My heart goes out to Tyler, and everyone else who is struggling in high school, college or in life. There is a community, and a safe place out there.
